Pregnancy Update:

You know the saying, no news is good news... try telling that to a father who's waiting and I'm not sure what the reaction would be. We have beeen waiting since our last Dr's appointment but received, NO NEWS from baby as to its arrival.

So we had been told by the Dr. that if the baby hadn't come by yesterday, today we would indice. Well, we called the doc yesterday afternoon and he decided that instead of inducing, he wants to see us this morning and do some exams to determine whether or not we should induce now or WAIT TILL WEDNESDAY!?!?!

After hearing this news, I did what any father to be would do when told that the baby he thought he'd see the next day may not be seen till Wednesday. I sat on my bed, watched Seinfeld DVD's and ate Canadian chocolate that my mom brought.... but I'm okay now.

On a nonpregnancy note: My mom is so cute! She's just like a little child here. Even now we are all sitting outside on our patio and she just looked up, jumped up and down and squealed, "There's not a cloud in the sky!" She absolutely loves it in Costa Rica. The people, the beauty and the food. I have to constantly be watching to make sure she doesn't fall in Gringo Traps (open manhole covers) because she''s constantly looking around at birds, flowers and mountains. Maybe I'll try to get her to blog something about her first thoughts.
