I have been studying what humility truly means and I keep coming back to meekness. Meekness is a quality that seems lost on our culture. Do we practice meekness? Is it a quality one can atain? Has it been improperly translated in many bible translations as "weak" or "humble"? What do you think meekness is?

My two cents:
I've never really consciously thought about the definition of meekness, but if I had to put into words what I believe it to mean, it would go something like this:
I think of meekness like a cautious faun *don't ask why, I don't know. Think "As the Deer"*. I think that to be meek is to not act harshly or on impulse, but to be aware, and modest, and to know that you don't know everthing. To approach things with humility.
But hey, just my two cents;)
