We Made It!
Well, we made it!
I am currently sitting in my office in Lima, Peru, and surprisingly, everything seems to be coming together as far as settling in.
We arrived almost two whole weeks ago (sorry for the lack of update), and have since been spending time learning about the ministry in Peru, Argentina and Chile as well as getting our home set up.
Micaiah handled the move well, but unfortunately seems to have chosen this transition to transition himself out of his second nap... Other than that he is growing and learning and enjoying playing with the new puppy (see last post).
Tommorow night I (and perhaps Dena) will spend some time at the youth ministry in the local Wesleyan Church where we have been asked to help out. Though GP has outlined certained cultural and language learning things that will be a very heavy emphasis, it looks more and more like one of our main ministroes will be working with the youth nation-wide.
That's about all I have time for right now, but stay tuned for more updates shortly.
Thanks again to everyone who has made this ministry possible through prayers, finances and the occasional swift kick in the pants (you know who you are dad).

thanks for the update. glad things are going well!
Awesome stuff.
Wow...another new country, 1 1/2 kiddos and a dog. You guys are definitely fitting the bill of "ministry fam". Do you drive a minivan? :) Congratulations on your new mission!
Oh, that is wonderful. Glad things are well.
Hey Elliot is great to hear from you, I'm here keeping it cool and getting ready for the 30 hour famine... want to donate me something... Our goal this year is 20 000 dollars, I hope we make it.
I also hope that you enjoy your time in south America and enjoy Peruvian food.
